This Privacy Policy explains how PackPay ("PackPay," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and early-access service (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
- Account information. Your name, work email, company name, and password when you sign up or join the waitlist.
- Customer Data. Business records you provide or connect to use the Service, such as invoices, remittances, deduction notices, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
- Usage information. Basic analytics about how the Service is used, such as pages visited and features used, collected via standard tools.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide the Service (including identifying, preparing, and filing deduction disputes at your direction), to communicate with you about your account and the product, to improve the Service, and to keep the Service secure. We do not sell your information, and we do not use Customer Data to market to third parties.
3. How we share information
We do not sell or share your information with anyone, with two narrow exceptions: the infrastructure providers that run the Service for us (hosting, database, email, and AI processing), which are bound by agreements limiting their use of it, and disclosures required by law. PackPay does not send anything to retailers or distributors; you send your own disputes.
4. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, and we limit access to the people who need it. If we ever learn of an incident affecting your data, we will tell you promptly.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You may disconnect your data or ask us to delete your account and associated Customer Data at any time by emailing us, and we will do so within 30 days except where the law requires longer retention.
6. Your choices
You can access, correct, or delete your account information, opt out of non-essential emails, and request a copy of your data by contacting us.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or in the product before they take effect.
